Why are we Really in Afghanistan?

The reason as to why our armed forces continue to stay in Afghanistan has become unclear. Is it to bring peace and stabilty to the region? Is it to erradicate the poppy fields? Is it to continue our endless persuit of Osama Bin Laden?? With our government unable to give a straight answer I have gone in search of the truth....
